On Aug. 10, community members gathered at Basehor-Linwood High School to celebrate the official opening of the new addition to the high school and also the improvements to the performing arts areas!

 

The ceremony marked the opening of a dedicated cafeteria, new science and math classrooms, a strength and conditioning room, and an indoor workout facility as well as the addition of a new dedicated choir room and improvements to the auditorium.

 

The next day, another ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Early Learning Center to celebration the addition of 6 additional Pre-K classrooms, 4 additional childcare rooms, a multi-use discovery zone and more!

Basehor-Linwood School District would like to express our gratitude to our community members for their support of Bond 2024 to allow these additions and improvement to occur!
