Strategic Reopening Plan Cover

Strategic Reopening Plan Approved by the BOE 8/17

In the Modified On-Site learning plan that was approved Monday night, elementary students will attend Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on-site. BLMS and BLHS students will attend on Mondays/Thursdays OR Tuesdays/Fridays based on the first letter of their last name. Wednesdays will be “at home” days where ALL students in the District will do remote learning. Buildings will do their best to schedule Wednesday check-ins for students at staggered times so multiple students in one family will ideally not all be meeting with their teachers at the same time.

Information for Parents Regarding Special Education Services for 2020-2021

The TBLSEC recognizes there may be many questions for families with students with exceptionalities as we begin the 2020-2021 school year with options regarding learning environments and special education services. The determination of services lies with the IEP team. The student's IEP team, including the parent, should start by thinking about the district’s general education curriculum through the different learning environments. All services and supports are intended to provide the student with access to the general education curriculum to the maximum extent appropriate. Below is a list of the learning environments offered with considerations for the IEP team.
