BLHS Boosters are a group of FUN and enthusiastic volunteer parents, school staff and members of the Basehor community who actively support Basehor-Linwood High School. The Boosters' goal is to enhance the academic and extracurricular environment at BLHS for all students and have FUN supporting our students and school!
What Does Booster Club Provide to BLHS?
With the support, dedication and hard work of the BLHS Booster club members, parents and students, we accomplish many things each year for the benefit of our students, athletes, teachers, clubs and school:
Annual Scholarships awarded to BLHS seniors to put towards the college of their choice.
Support teachers with gift cards and supply drive to support classroom needs.
Financial support of students and athletes who qualified for state competitions
Grants available for items including but not limited to uniforms, equipment, materials and supplies for student clubs, athletic programs and teachers
Coordination and support of special projects including Teacher Appreciation Weeks, Senior day, homecoming meals, Jamboree and Meet the Bobcats.
Work with volunteers and clubs to host all concession stands for home BLHS games to provide excellent experience for guest schools.
Partner with student clubs and athletes to provide fundraising opportunities. By volunteering at concession stands, these groups can earn fundraising dollars to support their group needs.
Partners with area businesses to support the overall growth of the community and school.
