The dates, time and place for regular meetings of the board shall be established by resolution in July each year as prescribed by state statute.
Written notice of special board meetings shall be given at least two days before said meeting unless such notice is waived by the board. The notice of such special meeting shall state the date, time, place and purpose of such special meeting, and only such business as is mentioned in the call shall be transacted at such special meetings.
All board meetings are open to the public, but closed or executive sessions may be held as provided by law. When the board desires to hold an executive or closed session, it will adopt a motion for an executive or closed session, but the board will not adjourn. The motion will state a specified time at which the open meeting will continue. The board will also state the justification for its executive or closed session.
See Executive Session (BCBK).
