New Immunization Requirements for 2010/11 School Year:

2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox) are required for Kindergarten and 1st grade, only 1 dose is required for grades 2nd through 10th grade, unless there is a history of Varicella disease documented by a physician.

The Leavenworth County Health Department is providing a *Free clinic for Varicella Immunizations
for children ages 10-14 years only.

The clinic dates are: July 12th 8am-4pm and August 9th 8am-4pm.

For a minimal fee other immunizations are provided by the LCHD (Leavenworth County Health Dept.) for all ages on Monday and Wednesday 8-4 and Friday 8-11:30.

A current shot record is required.
